Long time, no see!
Since summer came, I have been away from here while enjoying the hot weather. To summarize my past month, I had a wonderful trip to Israel after a small family visit. The opportunity to both work and discover new places was great. I had the opportunity to meet very successful people in their field and to explore the Mobile Application industry closely. In the evenings, Tel Aviv's beautiful sunset (*) once again reminded me how lucky I was. At that time, several questions appeared in my mind that led me to write this blog.

Tel-Aviv, Israel Was it enough just to work hard to become one of those successful people? Or do we also need the luck to be successful? Could someone who works hard but believes she/he is so unlucky succeed?
Let me first explain what I believe, and then I'll show you why. Of course, I still have some doubts, but this slogan allowed me to reflect on how lucky I was in Tel-Aviv.
I believe luck will get us somewhere, but hard work keeps us there. Luck is the moment that offers us unique opportunities. However, to be honest, luck is fleeting, and most importantly attainable. Some people may be born in a wealthy country, into a loving and wealthy family. Another is from an unhappy family struggling with poverty. Not being able to choose the geography and family we will be born into does not make us lucky/unlucky. Because living is nothing more than a simulation that we are thrown into, each life has its struggle. A very lucky person born into a wealthy family may struggle with a serious illness, while a poor person can still be healthy.
So who do we qualify as lucky or unlucky here?

In essence, I believe that luck brings us somewhere, for example, to a rich or poor family. But staying there depends on hard work and effort. Accepting the conditions and making the mistake of thinking that 'I am unlucky' is the factor that causes us to make efforts and stay away from the success we want.
When we look at the lives of many people whose success has been going on for a long time, none of them had an easy life. There were times when he faced many obstacles and became hopeless. However, we see that all of them, without exception, continuing their work despite all the things we describe as 'unlucky' to achieve success has brought them to this day. Thomas Alva Edison, inventor of the light bulb. He had failed 99 times during his experiment and succeeded in 100th time. It was not luck, it was hard work.
Another important point of view that we need to change at this point is; We must stop seeing failures as unluckiness. Every failure is a step that leads us to success. Being born in poor geography is an opportunity to see and correct the deficiencies of that geography. To make up for this deficiency, what you need to do is to make mistakes and work hard to learn from these mistakes.
If you are one of those who believe that the road to success is through luck, I still believe that you can create your luck by working hard based on all that I have said. I have created all my luck in my life and staying there is not just a matter of luck :)
Keep working hard!
