How can we attract the attention of consumers? How can we make our product interesting? How can we increase our visibility? Content marketing is the answer to all these questions. Content marketing is a marketing technique that aims to establish an organic relationship between the end-user and the brand. Although the product you have is a unique and high-performance product, it is the product left behind when it cannot reach the consumer. Content marketing, on the other hand, is a method that can deliver this product to the user and create a bond between you and the consumer.


Why do you need Content Marketing?

With the expansion of the digital world, marketing has largely shifted to this area. If we consider content marketing in the digital field, we can start by examining Visual, Audio, Video, and Written content. Sometimes an image, a word, or a sound can be the AHA point of the consumers. Forty-seven percent of buyers view 3 to 5 pieces of content before engaging with a sales representative. Companies that use content marketing see approximately 30% higher growth rates than businesses not using it. Seventy-two percent of business to business (B2B) marketers say content marketing increases engagement and the number of leads they generate


As we mentioned before, the main purpose of content marketing is to establish a relationship with the customer through the above channels and at the same time keep it up to date and dynamic. It aims to establish an emotional bond with the customer by giving the message that "We are always here for you" rather than "We exist". Product/ Service should have a story behind it. So, we can seek Storytelling abilities here. In addition, it is another aim to keep in constant contact with the customer, to make them feel that their comments are valued, and to ensure close contact. In other words, while gaining the loyalty of the customer, efforts are made to reach large segments. At the same time, a story is given to the entire general audience.


Well, isn't it very difficult to gain customer loyalty while reaching large audiences with the product story that you will write? Moreover, these short materials (image, audio, video, text) will give the AHA point...


Let's take a look at what we should pay attention to when planning all these.

Define your target

Before planning the content, decide who your target is. Who might be interested in your service/product? If you have a large frame you can separate them into segments. So, it will help you while creating content for each segment.

Define your language for each segment target. As you know we have different languages between generations, so, it wouldn’t be the correct option to use a new/social media language if you address X generations.


Identify your service/product

You should know what you have and what would be the benefit of it. Why do people choose you? What is the difference between your service? so here; never forget to do competitor analysis.


Find the keywords

You have just seconds to take attention, so choose the keywords, and shape them as magical. Also, this step is important for SEO as well, use keywords with high search volume in your content strategically in terms of your industry, products, and services and get links to your web pages that may be related to these words.


Almost done!

Just try to reach more users and make them share your content on their pages too. While disseminating that content, always update your target regarding your service/product. As mentioned earlier, communication should be dynamic and each piece of content should be prepared with the same attention.
